Tirana’s New Boulevard

Published on: 20 June 2017
Thanks to all these transformations, Tirana has become a place where people are more willing to start a business, to buy a home, to make a life, and to come and visit this city. There is no reason why other cities in Albania should be deprived of this.

The Vetting to open a new chapter in our common history

Published on: 17 June 2017
The Vetting is not only the right thing, but it has been so delayed and it is so necessary as to have a thorough support by the Albanian people, whether left or right. And the responsibility for delaying the Vetting, is first of all yours, yours Jozefine with all the others here, and then we can start and discuss who is responsible for the many years that we have wasted.

Towards an epochal transformation for Shkoder

Published on: 12 June 2017
I am very happy that today we are here in Shkoder, and we are starting this day with some good works that are a continuation of what we have tried and will continue to do for Shkoder, even though you know the extraordinary difficulty we have to find translators to communicate with the municipality.

“The House with Leaves”, the Museum of collective memory in order not to forget the past

Published on: 23 May 2017
We have been very often witnesses to the way people react in front of these endeavours, starting with Bunk’art 1 and then with Bunk’art 2, which are the links of a chain to which this Museum is being added today. And this Museum, if we consider the whole process, the involvement of people who gave life to it, and the museology as the foundation of the work done, it is undoubtedly the most precious gem of the crown.

Albania will open EU negotiations by the end of this year

Published on: 22 May 2017
Mr Patoz, since you started with my clothing, I owe you an explanation. Normally, my relationship with clothing has been mocked for a long time, then discussed, and then it has become fashionable. If you are going to be here in the next parliament, don’t be surprised if you find yourself keeping up with this fashion. But the question is who paves the way.

With tour operators of the city of Vlora

Published on: 13 May 2017
This is not the first time we’ve met. We’ve met several times, and I’m glad to see that you have been increasingly enthusiastic every time we’ve met – we’ll see today – about the development path of this whole area which has, of course, a high price to pay to the past because you are witnesses to the fact that Vlora, Himara, Saranda, and certainly the whole inland area from Selenice and along the river of Vlora, were left for many years in a total oblivion by the governments in Tirana.

On the path to the EU, the implementation of European reforms is inevitable

Published on: 06 May 2017
On Europe’s Day of last year we were gathered in Shkoder, and the sunset was similar to this one here in Gjirokastra where, although it is not exactly the same day – as Europe’s Day is celebrated on May 9, – we have gathered to commemorate this red-letter day in the history of Europe and of the entire mankind.

Honour and gratitude to those who gave their lives for the homeland

Published on: 05 May 2017
To many, these may sound some beautiful words of a great man of letters, but for those who have witnessed an epic such the national liberation war, or who are the descendants of those who grew up with the stories of that war, these words hit the target because they speak of a living proof of our history.

1001 additional free legalizations for Kamza

Published on: 28 April 2017
This is the last public activity we hold for legalizations. Legalizations will continue, but we won’t do any public activity because the campaign starts officially on May 1st, and these are elements that should not be used for the campaign, and we will not use them for the campaign.

The Olympics of Skills, the revival of crafts through vocational education

Published on: 28 April 2017
This list includes many other crafts, and it shows a very simple thing. Albania, a country that has fantastic natural resources and a population that in 25 years of transition has shown that individually it has the ability to survive any kind of challenge – just think of the challenges faced by the Albanians across the sea – has actually lost the ability to address these potentials. To sum up, three and a half years ago Albania lacked skilled workers in any potential trade. But today Albania has eightfold more lawyers than Germany, and we cannot say that our judicial system can be comparable to that of Germany. Quite the opposite.
Thanks to all these transformations, Tirana has become a place where people are more willing to start a business, to buy a home, to make a life, and to come and visit this city. There is no reason why other cities in Albania should be deprived of this. 20-06-2017
