Prime Minister Edi Rama is in Paris today to take part in the “Coalition of the Willing” Summit on Ukraine, convened by President Emmanuel Macron at the Élysée Palace.

The summit is focused on Ukraine, the further strengthening of international support, and discussions on the steps ahead. It aims to review and reinforce alignment and coordination between the United States, Ukraine, European countries and members of the Coalition, within the framework of the security guarantees required to open the path towards a just and sustainable peace.

Prior to the summit, Prime Minister Rama met with France’s Minister of Justice, Gérald Darmanin, to discuss the participation of French partners in the reflection group addressing Albania’s criminal policy challenges, as well as the consolidation of the new draft Criminal Code, fully aligned with European standards and best practices.
