Albania provisionally closed the first three chapters of its accession negotiations with the European Union: Chapter 25, “Science and Research”; Chapter 26, “Education and Culture”; and Chapter 30, “External Relations”. Prime Minister Edi Rama described the development as a milestone on the path towards EU membership and as evidence that the reforms undertaken are delivering results.
