On the Martyr’s Day, Prime Minister Edi Rama paid homage in honour of those who fell for the country’s freedom.

During the state ceremony held at the “Mother Albania” Monument, the Prime Minister laid a wreath of flowers and bowed in deep respect, in the name of preserving historical memory and of the enduring appreciation of the martyrs’ sublime sacrifice, as a foundation of national identity and of the country’s European future.

May 5 remains a day of reflection and gratitude for all those who, through their highest act of sacrifice, made possible the freedom that Albania enjoys today.
