The tradition of voluntary blood donation at the premises of the Prime Minister’s Office continued this year as well, serving as a symbolic and humanitarian act to save lives.
Prime Minister Edi Rama, a regular blood donor for many years, once again joined this initiative together with employees of the Prime Minister’s administration.
The Prime Minister’s appeal called for broader public engagement in this vital act. He emphasised that blood donation is a concrete expression of human solidarity.
“Are you aware that this is very beneficial for the body? It rejuvenates you, regenerates you, renews your blood, and cleanses it. Besides being a very valuable contribution. You have to put yourself in the position of those parents whose children need this, but beyond that, it is also very beneficial for your organism,” said Prime Minister Rama.
The awareness campaign for blood donation aims to raise public consciousness about the importance of voluntary contributions and their impact on improving the healthcare system and strengthening the sense of solidarity in society.
