Albanian Government Council of Ministers

Investments in the construction and transformation of educational infrastructure in the country continue.

The “22 Tetori” School in Berat is another concrete evidence of this approach, whose environment is being transformed into a modern and dignified space for young people in this city with a long-standing tradition of appreciation for education.

During the inspection of the works, Prime Minister Edi Rama, who is today in Berat, became closely acquainted with the progress achieved, while also visiting the new sports facilities, now nearing completion.

This investment follows successful interventions such as the reconstruction of the “Babë Dudë Karbunara” high school, creating a network of contemporary educational institutions.

The “22 Tetori” School will welcome around 500 students, who will benefit from modern classrooms, equipped laboratories, “smartlab” environments, and a sports hall, creating an environment that encourages quality in education and the development of practical skills.

Beyond its traditional function, the project also foresees dedicated spaces for art and crafts, turning the school into a multifunctional community centre. This model aims to strengthen the connection between the school and the community, making education a key pillar of the country’s social and economic development.
