Prime Minister Rama welcomed Albanian heavyweight boxer Nelson Hysa to his office today, following his successful defence of the WBO title in his bout against Norwegian boxer Thomas Narmo. During the meeting, Prime Minister Rama asked about the bout and Hysa’s journey in the ring, while the Albanian champion spoke about the challenge, which came after 11 months without a fight, highlighting the high level of his opponent, who had been considered the favourite to win the title.

During the conversation, Prime Minister Rama congratulated champion Hysa on his success and on defending his title, praising his achievements on the international stage. The boxer, meanwhile, noted that he is currently the only Albanian boxer ranked by all four major international boxing federations.
