Albanian Government Council of Ministers

The third day of the Albanian Diaspora Summit opened with the Breakfast of Brotherhood, a symbolic gathering that brought together representatives of religious communities for a shared moment of prayer and blessing for Albania and the Albanian people. Prime Minister Edi Rama was also present at this moment of reflection and spiritual unity.

In a calm and inclusive atmosphere, representatives of different faiths delivered messages of peace, harmony, and hope, offering prayers for the country and the nation, while also giving a symbolic blessing to the national flag. The event once again highlighted Albania’s longstanding tradition of religious coexistence and interfaith tolerance.

The Breakfast of Brotherhood took place within the framework of the session titled “The Heritage of the Sacred,” which in the Albanian context refers to the country’s rich spiritual and material heritage connected to faith, martyrdom, and places of worship that have helped shape national identity.

This gathering, together with the roundtable that followed, marked an important moment of interfaith dialogue and mutual respect, underscoring the role of spiritual heritage as a solid foundation for the country’s future. The meeting aimed to strengthen unity and inspire a shared commitment to the common good.

The event, held by special invitation, also featured prayers and blessings from representatives of religious communities in Albania and the diaspora.

The Albanian Diaspora Summit continues under the motto “Through our roots, we rise,” highlighting the importance of maintaining a strong connection with national identity and heritage.
