Albanian Government Council of Ministers

The inaugural meeting of the Peace Board officially commenced at the premises of the Donald J. Trump Institute for Peace in Washington, D.C., with the participation of heads of state and government, as well as senior international representatives. Following the official family photo of participants, the session was opened with welcoming remarks by the President of the United States of America, Donald Trump.

The roundtable discussions will feature presentations and briefings from key international figures attending the meeting, focusing on the historic nature of this initiative, efforts to secure the release of hostages and coordinate mediators, addressing humanitarian and security needs in Gaza, the demilitarization process, reconstruction through a comprehensive development plan, strengthening institutional capacities, and the establishment of transparent financial mechanisms, including a Sovereign Wealth Fund. The agenda also includes presentations on technology and supply chains, as well as on measurable outcomes to be achieved on the ground, laying the foundations for the Board’s concrete action in its initial operational phase.

The launch of the Board’s activities marks a new step in international coordination to address global security and reconstruction challenges. Albania’s presence as a founding member of the Board once again demonstrates Albania’s firm alignment with the United States of America in all efforts to promote peace, security, and constructive global engagement.
